Domestic Electrical
From a single new socket to a complete house rewire, our NIC EIC-approved electricians handle all domestic electrical work safely, professionally and to the highest certified standard. Based in Alcester, we serve homes across Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
What We Offer
All work carried out to BS 7671 (18th Edition) standards, certified and fully guaranteed for 12 months.
Is your home's wiring old, overloaded or potentially unsafe? We carry out full and partial rewires to modern standards, restoring safety and adding capacity for today's electrical demands. We work methodically to minimise disruption and leave your home tidy.
We provide a comprehensive electrical installation service for new build properties and self-builds — from first fix cabling through to second fix fitting of sockets, switches, light fittings and the final connection. We work closely with builders and project managers to keep your build on schedule.
An old fuse box without RCD protection is a fire risk — and many mortgage lenders and insurers now require a modern consumer unit. We supply and fit high-quality units with full RCD and RCBO protection, and certify the installation under Part P.
New lighting can transform your home. We install downlighters, LED strips, feature lighting, bathroom lighting (IP-rated), external security and dusk-to-dawn lighting, and smart home lighting systems. We'll help you choose the right solution for every room.
Not enough sockets? Sockets in the wrong place? We add new socket outlets, USB charging sockets, move existing outlets and install dedicated circuits for appliances such as cookers, ovens and tumble dryers. Clean, professional finish every time.
Charge your electric vehicle at home overnight with a properly installed, OZEV-compliant home EV charger. We survey your current supply, handle all wiring, and install leading-brand chargers including Ohme, Myenergi Zappi and Pod Point. Fast, safe, warranty-backed.
Planning a home extension, loft conversion or garden room? We handle all first and second fix electrical installation, working alongside your builders to ensure wiring is in place at every stage. All work signed off and certified on completion.
Mains-wired smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are now required in all new and rental properties. We install and test interlinked alarm systems that meet the latest building regulations and BS 5839 standard.
New kitchen? We handle all kitchen electrical work — from dedicated circuits for ovens, cooker hoods and dishwashers, to socket alterations, under-cabinet lighting and new consumer unit circuits. All kitchen electrical work is Part P notifiable and fully certified by us.
Bathroom electrical work requires specialist knowledge of IP zones and safety regulations. We handle power showers, shaver points, extractor fans, heated towel rails, IP-rated lighting and full bathroom rewires — all to Part P standard and certified.
Adding an extension, loft conversion, garage or conservatory? We take care of all electrical installation from first fix cabling to final connection of sockets, lighting and heating. We work alongside your builders to keep the project on track.
We wire and connect combi boilers, S/Plan and Y/Plan central heating systems — including programmer controllers, thermostats, zone valves and pump connections. Ideal when upgrading your boiler or installing a new central heating system.
We service, repair and install complete night storage heating systems — including Economy 7 wiring and the dedicated circuits required. Whether you're replacing an old storage heater or installing a whole-home system, we'll carry out the work safely and to full regulation.
We design and install mains-wired, interlinked smoke detector and carbon monoxide alarm systems. Mains-wired alarms are now required in all new and rental properties. We ensure your system meets BS 5839 and current building regulations.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) is a formal inspection of your property's wiring and electrical installation. Since 2020, EICRs are a legal requirement for all private rented properties in England. Failure to comply with the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations can result in fines of up to £5,000 per non-compliant item, six months' imprisonment, and the invalidation of your property insurance. As a landlord, your duty of care is ongoing throughout every tenancy.
